Acapulco is a citrus, sweet and herbal highball-style cocktail built around Light rum, served in a old-fashioned glass.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ozLight rum
- 1 1/2 tspTriple sec
- 1 tblspLime juice
- 1 tspSugar
- 1Egg white
- 1Mint
How to make it
- Combine and shake all ingredients (except mint) with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes.
- Add the sprig of mint and serve.
Story
There is no need to overcomplicate Acapulco. Its character comes from Light rum, Triple sec and Lime juice, with the old-fashioned glass keeping the serve relaxed and the flavors citrus, sweet and herbal.
