Dark Caipirinha

Ingredients

• 2 tspdemerara Sugar
• 1Lime
• 2 1/2 ozCachaca

How to make it

1. Muddle the sugar into the lime wedges in an old-fashioned glass.
2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
3. Pour the cachaca into the glass.
4. Stir well.

Story

Dark Caipirinha is less about elaborate technique than the chemistry between demerara Sugar, Lime and Cachaca. The finished drink is citrus and sweet, with a presentation that suits its highball glass.
