Mint Julep

Ingredients

• 4 freshMint
• 2 1/2 ozBourbon
• 1 tspPowdered sugar
• 2 tspWater

How to make it

1. In a highball glass gently muddle the mint, sugar and water.
2. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir well until the glass is well frosted.
3. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Story

Mint Julep is less about elaborate technique than the chemistry between Mint, Bourbon and Powdered sugar. The finished drink is sweet and herbal, with a presentation that suits its collins glass.
