Zombie

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 ozRum
• 1 1/2 ozGold rum
• 1 oz151 proof rum
• 1 tspPernod
• 1 tspGrenadine
• 1 tspLime Juice
• 1 dropAngostura Bitters

How to make it

1. Blend at high speed for no more than 5 seconds.
2. Pour into a glass, add ice cubes to fill, then add the garnish.
3. *Donn’s mix: Bring 3 crushed cinnamon sticks, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
4. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat and let sit for at least 2 hours before straining into a clean glass bottle.
5. Then add 1 part of the syrup and 2 parts of fresh grapefruit juice together.

Story

Think of Zombie as a study in contrast. Rum, Gold rum and 151 proof rum share the glass without losing their individual character, creating a result that feels citrus and bitter.
